Work order statuses
During the production process, various statuses can be defined for work orders. To continue the process for a work order, you must change the status. This table shows the work order statuses:
Status code | Description |
---|---|
Unreleased | The work order was created using production scheduling or was manually created but is not released. |
Released | Before work orders can be exploded, they must be released. |
Exploded | The components from an exploded work order can be updated individually. |
In Production | Before a work order is in production, it must be exploded. Planned quantities cannot be changed for work orders that are in production. Components, burdens, and byproducts are displayed on the work order and are available for feedback if they are added with zero planned quantities. To put a work order in production, all components must be allocated, otherwise a message is displayed. Configure the allocation verification in the Inventory Control application. |
Canceled | The work order was deleted or rescheduled. |
Completed | The finished goods are produced and the Inventory Control and Global Ledger applications are updated. |
