Re-explode work orders
After work orders are exploded, you can re-explode them. This list shows the changes you can make to re-exploded work orders:
- Changes were made to finished good quantities. Re-explode the work order so that the components are in proportion to the new finished good quantity.
- Changes were made to the finished good, such as component quantity or burdens, using Inventory Control.
- Reverse changes to the components, burdens, and byproducts on an exploded work order.
- Changes affected the inventory cost of producing the finished good, and the burden type is a percentage of inventory cost. Re-exploding the work order recalculates the planned burden cost.
