Work orders
A work order is a document that defines the finished goods that are produced and the byproducts, burden rates, and components that are used. Work orders are used to keep track of the production process. You can create work orders manually or through production scheduling.
Use Production Management to create demands, schedule production, and create work orders for finished good items.
Example
If you make bicycles and demand increases every spring, you can manually create the work order so that bicycles are always on hand in the spring.
