Printed work orders
Production staff can use a printed work order to produce the finished goods. Printed work orders can be used as feedback turnaround documents. Work orders must be released before you can print them. We recommend that you schedule physical inventory.
Printed work orders can contain this information:
- Name, quantity to produce, and description of the finished good
- Name, description, quantity to pick, location of each component, production sequence, and component notes
- Space to record the bin, lot, and sublot from which each component was picked
- Space to record component quantities that are used or wasted
- Burden costs, such as labor, overhead, and testing, and burden notes
- Byproduct name, description, planned quantity with space to record actual quantity, and notes
- Assembly instructions
