Verifying component availability

You can view component availability any time and perform these tasks:

  • Verify that enough components are available to produce a specific kit quantity
  • Inquire about how many kit items can be produced based on component availability
  1. Sign in as Inventory and select Administration.
  2. On the Items tab, click the Kit Items and Components link.
  3. On the Kit Items tab, click Create.
  4. Complete the fields.
  5. In the Make Code field, select whether the kits are made to order or stocked.

    If you select Make to Stock, then complete the fields in the additional tabs.

  6. Click Save.
