Goods

Goods are the items that a customer orders which can come from several places, including your warehouse or an external vendor. If you have the goods in stock, then you can directly ship the goods to your customer. If you do not have the goods in stock, then you can order the items from a vendor. The vendor can deliver the goods to you or directly to your customer.

You can also use the customer and vendor role setup in Inventory Control to order goods. You can share inventory between companies that cross country borders. As the customer, you can place a dropship order with another company. As the vendor, you can ship the goods to your customer or to you.
