Finish and release actions
The action is used to perform picking, packing, or shipping feedback in full. You must first select the feedback that is not in full and click to process the remaining lines in full. For example, if you expect to pick, pack, and ship 15 of item A, 30 of item B, and 20 of item C, then use to define 15, 30, and 20, respectively, for the feedback steps. You do not need to define each quantity, line by line. Select the action when all information for the shipment is correct and complete. After you finish a step, you must perform an action before you can make changes. You must finish a shipment before you can release it.
The action is the final step to shipping feedback, to move the document to the next phase, such as from shipping feedback to invoicing. Stock-on-hand is decreased when you release shipping feedback.
