Infor Warehouse Management System interface

This appendix explains the interface between Infor and a third-party Warehouse Management System (WMS).

The Infor-WMS interface takes advantage of the strong functionality of both software systems. It provides transparent functionality that interfaces ongoing additions and changes in Infor’s item master data to the WMS software. The interface connects Infor Distribution Management with the WMS software and allows purchase orders and item master data to be created in Infor and downloaded to the WMS. Functionality is provided to ensure inventory synchronization between the WMS and Infor.

The interface connects Infor Distribution Management with the WMS software and allows shipment pick lists to be generated in Infor and downloaded to the WMS. Shipment confirmation information is uploaded to Infor. Customer returns are generated in Infor and downloaded to the WMS. Customer return receipts and inventory adjustments are generated in the WMS and uploaded to Infor. The interface also provides periodic near real-time data transfer when paired with other scheduling tools.
