Linking actors to context properties
An Actor Context is a user attribute value that can be used for authorization and application defaulting purposes. All Landmark Actors have at least one Actor Context and, depending on the products they use, might have several.
For example, an actor context property record is linked to the context property for FinanceEnterpriseGroup. This actor context record identifies the actor and the name of the finance enterprise group to which they have access.
There are multiple ways to link actors to actor context records. You can:
- Use templates to prevent having to perform a complex search for or manually add context values. Templates can be used to link context records to individual actors or to all actors. Actor context templates for Financials and Supply Management
- Manually create actor context records. Manually creating actor context records
- Use Infor Spreadsheet Designer to locate and mass-load actor context records.
