Generating a list of role information

The Securable Object Access Details report and the Securable Object Policy report can provide a listing of all business classes that a role has access to and what the associated rules are. You can export parsed LPL to a spreadsheet through the Securable Object Access Details report.

Sign in to Administration Console and select Security > Security Reports and then select either Securable Object Policy or Securable Object Access Details.
Click the Create Securable Object Report or Create Report action button.
For Securable Object Policy report, specify this information and then click OK:

Filter By

Select Role. The Run For Single Role field is displayed.

Select the check box. The Role field is displayed.

Role

Select the role to report on.

Data Area

Specify the data area.

Securable Object Type

Select Business Class.
For Securable Object Access Detail report, specify this information and then click OK:

Select Role. The Run For Single Role field is displayed.

Select the check box. The Role field is displayed.

Select the role to report on.

Specify the data area.

Run For Single Securable Object Type

Select this check box to run the report on a securable object type. For example, business class.

Securable Object Type

Select Business Class. This field is displayed if you select Run For Single Securable Object Type.

Run For Single Securable Object Name

Select this check box to run the report on a specific securable object by name. For example, a specific business class.

Securable Object Name

Specify the name of the securable object. For example, the name of a specific business class. This field is displayed if you select Run For Single Securable Object Name.

The resulting report shows all Security Classes and Business Classes associated with the role. Noted on the form is the rule for the business class.

This report can be output to a .CSV or .PDF file.
