General event setup tasks

Before you create, maintain, and award events in Strategic Sourcing, you must complete general event setup. General setup includes defining articles, terms and conditions, award reasons, no bid reason codes, categories, event templates, questions, and, event types.

Some setup tasks, especially one-time configurations, are considered application administrator tasks. See the Supply Management Setup and Administration Guide.
