Creating new item proposals

  1. Sign in as Supplier.
  2. Select New Item Proposals > Propose A New Item.
  3. Complete the fields.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Click Propose Product and complete the form.
  6. In the Units Of Measure section, specify the unit of measure to use for buying or for issues.
  7. In the Items Being Replaced section, specify the respective item numbers and manufacturer number.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Optionally, add an attachment to provide additional details.
  10. You can define a set of instructions with questions on the Item Lifecycle Management Group for New Item Proposal. Questions are answered as part of the creation process. Some of the questions can be set to be required. The New Item Proposal cannot be submitted by the Supplier until all required questions are answered. The questions and answers can then be viewed by the Coordinator and New Item Proposal Reviewers.
  11. On the Summary tab, click Submit Item Proposal.
  12. To view a list of all proposals or to submit proposals, select New Item Proposals > My New Item Proposals.
