Creating a calendar

The Production Management solution uses the Calendar Definition (caldef) utility to define your work schedule. Using calendar, you can define all work and non-work days, such as weekends and holidays. Calendars are typically defined a year in advance.

When scheduling a work order that requires continuous production, such as meat processing that might spoil over a weekend, the planners can be alerted to the situation and schedule production accordingly.
