Feature toggles in FSM

These features are available now. This list is updated at each monthly release.

Module Feature Description
Administration Console, Security Administration Administration Console Menu Consolidation Streamlined Administration Console menu and top tier page navigation.

A separation between Administration Console and Security Administration because the security related menu items are removed from Administration Console. Webapps are located in Security Administration.

Allocation RSS LPL Allocation Priority Level The Priority field in RSS LPL is converted to a select field. Values are defined in the Allocation Priority Level business class.

A button is available on the main pane of the Item Group business class. The RSS Set Allocation Priority Level button is available to create a record in the Allocation Priority Level business class with a value of 50 and a Description of Normal.

The record is used as the default priority value when requisitions are created in RSS LPL.

This feature is only available in RSS LPL.

Analytics Analytics Console - Traceability The traceability function in the Analytics Console is available to compare the FSM application, Data Lake, and Birst Analytics. Currently, supports tracing a limited set of fields. To be an early adopter, create a Service Now ticket.
Assets Enhance the Append To Asset functionality in Project Capitalization For this enhancement, a new Append To Path field on the asset company is available. When this field is selected, the imported asset records are processed using the existing path in the asset item interface adjustment file or to the asset interface file.

Use the AssetInterfaceAppend action to add these interface records to the asset.

All Consolidated Webapps Phase 3 A consolidated web application for each module. Can be shared by all roles with access to the module. Administrator and Kitchen Management.
All Report Catalog A home for all operational reporting. This catalog contains all operational reports that are available to a user. The catalog is keyword searchable and filterable by categories that are intuitive to your users.

Tag favorite operational reports with a star and access them on the Favorites tab in the catalog.

The existing Print Files list of files is available in the Report Catalog on the Print Files tab.

Assets, Contracts, Inventory, Matching, Projects, Purchasing, Payables, Receivables Consolidated WebApps Phase I A consolidated web application for each module is available to all roles that have access to the module. Assets, Projects, Match, Inventory, Payables, Receivables, Purchasing, and Contracts.
Billing, Cash, Cash and Treasury, Close, Contracts, EDI, Franchise, GL, Intercomp Billing, Recall, Reconciliation, Student Activities Consolidated WebApps Phase II A consolidated web application for each module is available to all roles with access to the module. Item Lifecycle, Close, Cash, Contracts, EDI, Global Ledger, Billing, Intercompany Billing, Franchise Billing, Order Entry, Warehouse and Work Order, Reconciliation, Student Activities
Billing, Intercompany Billing, Order Entry, Receivables Vertex Tax Determination changes for Billing, Intercompany Billing, Order Entry, and Receivables This feature is for users of Vertex O Series as the tax system on the Tax Entity.

An ability to perform a single tax call to Vertex for all taxable lines on transactions from Billing, Intercompany Billing, Order Entry, and Receivables.

Billing, Intercompany Billing, Receivables, Tax OneSource - Tax Accrual Codes for Billing, Intercompany Billing, and Receivables When the Tax Account For Sales Invoices field is set to Receivable Global Ledger Code Account, the Account on the Receivable Global Ledger Code will be used instead of the Tax Output Account on Tax Entity or Entity Tax Code.
Billing, Lease, Order Entry, Receivables, Warehouse, Workorder Redesigned App Navigation Menu - External A simplified menu for external web apps. This phase includes Billing and Receivable Portal and sourcing.
Budgets Changes to transaction maintenance and processing while process pending for a template running The creation and maintenance of unreleased or released transactions that create or update commitments and encumbrances fail in some scenarios when a budget template is in Process Pending status.

This enhancement improves the behavior so that it is consistent for all scenarios across sub-systems and correctly updates template obligations.

Budgets Create a new business class to manage incoming requests and process them as a batch. Budget edit performance is improved. A new option to batch budget edit transactions. This option reduces the number of triggers and improve Budget Edit performance.
Cash, Close, etc. Moving attachments from multiple modules to IDM Use UploadToIDM and MoveAttachmentsToIDM instance actions to move attachments from Cash Management, Close Management, Custodial Account Management, General Ledger, Invoice Matching, Lease, Payables, Purchase Order, Requisitions, Shared Finance, Attachments to IDM
File creation File Creation Utility Performance Improvements Improves performance when files are generated using the file creation. The error features do not work with the new generation framework. If error handling is enabled for a setup while this feature is enabled, the performance does not change.
GL Report Designer Columns cannot be grouped ( MTD and YTD) This feature is so that you can group multiple columns and have one column header above all of the grouped columns.

Column headers can be changed for the grouping on the Alternate Column Header in the Dimension Details.

IDM, Warehouse Pick Lists duplicating after re-queueing failed Async trigger Improved the performance when Warehouse Pick List Print documents are generated to fix terminations of Warehouse Pick List Print.
Invoice Matching, Payables Create Warning and Controls for Matched Not Received Quantities A new field on the finance resource to restrict invoice matches that would result in MNR quantities.
Invoice Matching, Payables Auto Match Action Does Not Take Constraints into Consideration - Invoices Releasing without Required Remit A new parameter on Vendor and Company for constraints on Invoice Match and Release actions to require Remit To Location.
Lease, Payables Lease Invoice Should be Combined on the Payables Invoice by Due Date Allow the ability to have one Lease Invoice with the Lease Payment and Non-Lease Payments on the same invoice.
Receivables Allow unreleased payment applications based on a payment company flag When Allow Unreleased Payment Applications is enabled on the Receivable Company, unreleased receivable payments are eligible to select on these pages: Select Invoices and Apply Payments (Select Invoices and Apply Cash) and Apply Payments (Apply Cash). Payments can be applied directly in the batch view using the Select Invoices and Apply Payments functionality.
Receivables Manually created Receivable Invoices should support an expanded invoice entry template This enhancement will streamline the process of manually creating Receivable Invoices and provide more flexibility with regards to what can be included on the printed invoice.
Security Configurable Features Gives security administrators control over 30 role-based features. You can enable or disable features such as Saved Searches, View Deleted Records, Share Reports, Export to CSV, Spreadsheet Designer access.

Roles match the current default access and can be customized. For example, some roles can have access to use Show Deleted Records or Saved Searches. Because the current default is No, you can use both features by default. The default is No for all roles.

The current role security class associations are red and these roles are scanned: GlobalUIConfigAccess_ST, SecurityConfigAccess_ST, PersonalizationAccess_ST, LimitedListPersonalization_ST, LimitedFormPersonalization_ST, and DataMenuAccess_ST.

If security roles are associated with a role, then the configurable features are automatically enabled.

Tax Create OAuth path for Vertex90 URL Instances (Tax) An additional parameter is available on the VertexConfigVersion so that OAuth can be used.
WebApps Simplify Options Menu Recategorize and elevate items in the Options menu. This menu becomes unavailable and is replaced with Export, Reports Personalize, and Audit.
