Action reasons

Action reasons are used to explain why a specific business action is performed or why a record is amended. Action reasons are displayed in the audit log. You can create action reasons that are specific to an action and to your business processes.

For example, an action reason may explain why an amendment was created. For various non-standard processes in Financials & Supply Management, a reason code and description must be defined.
