Procurement groups
A procurement group is a level above company where you can consolidate purchasing activities for a flexible multi-company procurement structure.
Purchasing functions such as buyers, freight and shipping terms, and contracts are tied together at the procurement group level.
You can assign multiple Purchasing Companies to the same procurement group. All vendors and buyers that are tied to a procurement group are available to any company that you assign to that procurement group. Contracts are tied to a procurement group so that the contract can be used by more than one company.
