Global parameters
Global parameters are used to define how the recommendation engine is generally configured to handle data. Global parameters are broader than and are overridden by recommendation engine rules that are specific to certain cases. This list describes the tabs that are used for global parameters:
- Data Cleansing: Use to specify how to clean up data before processing to ensure the most helpful recommendations.
- Post Processing: Use to specify how to clean up recommendations after processing to ensure the most helpful recommendations.
- Perpetual Global: Use to define parameters that are specific to perpetual items.
- Par Global: Use to define parameters that are specific to par items.
After these settings are completed, create rules to manage parameters that are specific to company, location, inventory, vendor group, non-inventory, item group, major inventory class or a particular item. See Managing rules.
