GHX: special setup instructions

We recommend that you confirm with the vendor that these instructions are valid.

  • GHX does not require a DUNS number.
  • GHX requires a field name called 
    UniqueName

  1. Create a punchout vendor for GHXPunchout and tie that to a vendor group and vendor. The vendor must exist before you can create the punchout vendor.
  2. On the Punchout Vendor form, specify this information:
    Network ID
    Specify GHXUser.
    Shared Secret
    Specify your unique password that is assigned to you by your vendor.
    URL
    Specify https://int5.catalyst.ghx.com/procurement/WebDriver?ACT=PunchOut&EID=XX

    Replace the XX in the URL with the value that is assigned to you by your vendor.

  3. On the Other Data tab, specify this information.
  4. Create a Field Name called UniqueName. Use a value that is unique to this user. Spelling must match exactly. Field names are case sensitive.
  5. Click Save.

    If an error message about invalid cXML is displayed while you are attempting to punchout to a vendor's website, it means one of these issues has occurred:

    • You have not set the Shared Secret value
    • You must set up a UniqueName field name
