Setting up procedure information
Before you can use the procedure information functionality, you must perform some setup tasks.
-
On the Requester record, enable the functionality so that the requestor has
access to the procedure information.
- Select Supply Management Setup > Requisitioning > Requesters
- Select a requester record.
- In the Options section, select the Allow Display Of Procedure Info check box.
- Click Save.
-
On the Buyer record, enable the functionality to allow the buyer access to the
procedure information:
- Select Supply Management Setup > Purchasing > Buyers.
- Select a buyer record.
- In the Options section, select the Allow Display Of Procedure Info check box.
- Click Save.
-
On the PO Code record, select a Billing
Code.
The billing codes are sent to the vendor. Each vendor uniquely interprets billling codes. We recommend that you establish that information before use. If you have been using PO Codes to identify bill only POs, you can now relate a Bill Code to the PO Code.
- Select Supply Management Setup > Purchasing > PO Codes.
- Open a PO Code record.
- Select a Billing Code.
- Click Save.
-
Configure output to indicate which fields are displayed in print, transmission,
or masked. Masking truncates the full value of the field for privacy.
- Select Supply Management Setup > Groups and Companies > Purchasing Companies.
- Select a purchasing company record.
-
On the Procedure Info Output
tab, specify whether fields are displayed in print, transmitted, or
masked. The bill code is always displayed.
