Balance activity is a transaction activity that affects a company customer’s balance. This activity reconciles a company customer’s change in balance from two points of system date and time.

These transaction categories affects the company customer’s balance:

• Conversion
• Invoicing, payment
• National account application, chargeback, discount, over short
• Transfer, obligation grouping
• RTM payment, finance charge
• Bill of exchange

Each time a company customer’s balance is updated, a balance record is created. The before and after balances are taken.

• Categorizes every company customer transactions with system date and time stamp.
• Compliments existing reconciliation abilities by Global Ledger and document date.
• Provides a point-in-time reference between two inquiry dates.
• Facilitates From and To date balance inquiries.
