Maintaining encashed bills of exchange
After generating the bills
of exchange, you must mark the bills of exchange as cashed. You can also mark discounted
bills of exchange.
- Sign in as Receivables Specialist or Receivables Manager.

For Receivables Specialist, select Bill Of Exchange Processing > Customer Bill of Exchange Cashing
Selection.
For Receivables Manager, select Processing > Bill Of Exchange Processing > Customer Bill of Exchange Cashing Selection.
- Click Search.

Optionally, specify this information:
- Cash Code
- Select the cash code. The cash code represents a bank account that you remit the bills of exchange. The account the cash is deposited when you cash a bill of exchange.
- Company
- Select a company number.
- Bill Of Exchange
- Select the bill of exchange number.
- Type
- Select the type of the encashed bills of exchange.
- Maturity Date
- Select the maturity date of the encashed bills of exchange.
- Customer
- Select the customer number.
- Transaction Amount
- Specify the transaction amount.
- Remit Group
- Specify the remittance type and number.
- Status
- Select a status to limit the bills of exchange that are displayed to those with a specific status. If this field is blank, then both accepted and cashed bills of exchange are displayed.
- Bank Expense Amount
- Specify a bank expense amount for the bills of exchange.
- Cash Rate
- Specify the cash rate.
- Click Save.
- Click Bank Expense . Specify the bank or administrative charges that are associated with processing bills of exchange for the entire cash code.
