Multiple currency application

Multiple currency application can process transactions when the company base, transaction, and payment currencies are all different from each other. These are the application types:

  • Base currency application
  • Non-base currency application
  • Mixed non-base currency application
Note: The Application Currency Type field in Receivables tracks the application type. The value is stored as Base, Non Base, or Mixed.

These translations are applied to the currency application types:

  • FFR to CAD
  • USD to CAD
  • There is no translation rate for USD to FFR
