Designating capital projects

  1. Sign in as Project Accountant, Project Administrator, or Project Manager.
  2. For Project Accountant, select Project Management > Project List. Open a posting project.
    For Project Administrator, select Setup > Project Setup. Open the enterprise structure, select the Hierarchy tab, and open a posting project.

    For Project Manager, select Project List. Select the Projects tab. Select the summary project to view the list of posting projects. Open a posting project.

  3. On the Main tab, select the Capital check box to make the posting project eligible for asset interface capitalization.
  4. In the Project Status field, ensure that a status with Capitalization that is set to Yes is selected.
  5. Click Save.
