Identifying and moving closed projects

Use this procedure to move a group of closed posting projects and their summary parent record.

  1. Sign in as Project Administrator and select Setup > Posting Projects.
  2. Personalize the posting projects list by adding the DerivedParentDisplayProject column. The posting projects parent is displayed.
  3. Filter on project statuses that are closed.
  4. Sign in as Project Administrator and select Setup > Project Setup.
  5. On the Hierarchy tab, select the summary project.
  6. Right-click and select the Move action to move the summary and posting projects to the new parent.
