Labor distribution errors
Errors occur when the setup for labor distribution records is incorrect or incomplete. Processing is completed and errors are displayed on an Errors tab. These errors must be reviewed and corrected. When they are corrected, they no longer are displayed on an Errors tab.
If the error is not automatically deleted, then you can delete it and verify that no errors exist.
Labor distribution is not processed if the account is inactive or the account is invalid for the structure relation or the project structure validation.
The labor distribution remains in an approved status. The error record shows the cause of the error.
- If the structure rule or structure validation is missing, then re-add the structure relation or validation and distribute the labor.
- If the account is inactive, then correct the account on the setup and distribute labor.
If the labor distribution is updated to process, but there is an error on the record, then reverse the labor distribution and correct the error. After the error is corrected, the labor distribution action can be re-run.
