Viewing partially distributed labor

Use this procedure to verify whether all of the records for a period were fully distributed after labor has been distributed. If a project assignment is not included in the labor distribution, then the wages for an employee are only partially distributed. A project assignment with these dates is not included:

  • A start or end date that is during the labor period.
  • A date range that does not include the transaction date of the pay wage records.
  1. Select Labor Distribution.
  2. To select a specific period, select the period on the By Period tab and select the Processed Employees tab.
  3. To select all periods, select the All Labor tab.
  4. Filter on the Fully Distributed column.
  5. To correct the issue, reverse the labor distribution and adjust the project date range on the employee record to include the transaction date.

    When you re-run labor distribution for the labor period, the labor is fully distributed.
