Clearing applied invoice and credits
Use this procedure to match an invoice against a credit without having to complete a manual payment.
The Marked As Paid Offset Account must be specified for the company. Fund Accounting must not be enabled. See the Financials Setup and Administration Guide.
- Create an invoice and open the invoice record.
- Click the ellipsis and select .
- Specify the Applied Amount so that the balance of the invoice is equal to 0. For example, if the invoice amount is 100, then the credit amount must be 100.
- Click .
- Click the ellipsis and select .
- Verify that the invoice and credits have been cleared.
