BOE statement update

When you run Bill of Exchange Statement Update, these actions occur:

• Cashed and dishonored bills of exchange are updated.
• General ledger distribution records are created for bills of exchange that were cashed and dishonored.
• Vendor balances are updated.

When processing a cashed bill of exchange, the status of the invoices that are paid by the bill of exchange is changed to historical. When processing a dishonored bill of exchange, the invoices that are associated with the dishonored bill of exchange are reinstated. Depending on the reason that the bill of exchange was dishonored, you can reschedule, maintain, or cancel the invoices.
