Bills of exchange (BOE)
A bill of exchange (BOE), is a payment agreement between a vendor and buyer. This agreement can take the form of a draft that is issued against a buyer's bank account. The vendor can hold the draft until its maturity date or they can cash it early at a discounted rate. Bills of exchange are used most commonly in France and Spain. Bill of exchange distribution | To transfer general ledger distributions that are created by Bill of Exchange Cashing Update and all of the other distributions that are created during processing to the general ledger. |

Bill of exchange statement update | To update cashed and dishonored bills of exchange. To create general ledger distribution records for bills of exchange that were cashed and dishonored. To update vendor balances. |
