Order discount codes

An order discount code is used to give special treatment to preferred customers or to give discounts based on a customer's order total.

For example, codes are assigned to preferred customers and tied to order totals. Each order that is created for the customer is automatically eligible for a discount if the order total exceeds a certain amount.
