Netherlands specifics
In the Netherlands, companies report information to the Dutch National Bank. Financial institutions and similar companies have more requirements.
This list shows an example of information that must be reported:
- Group structure
- Equity, result
- Transactions and balances with group companies
- Transactions and valuations of investments in subsidiaries
Information is also shared with semi-governmental institutes, for example, Statistics Netherlands (CBS).
De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) is responsible for compiling the Dutch balance of payments (E-LineBOP) and the Dutch International Investment Position. The DNB appoints firms that must provide reports and notifies the managing boards in writing. This process is designed to support the reporting institutions with their reports. This list show examples:
- Balance of payments
- International Investment Position
