Creating ERS invoices

The processing parameters for Evaluated Receipts Settlement (ERS) are created at the company and vendor levels. If the vendor is ERS-capable, then the PO invoice method is Invoice Not Required (INR).

Use this procedure to set up receipt information to create an invoice when a vendor does not provide one. If you use this procedure to create an ERS invoice, you are not required to manually create a vendor invoice.

  1. Sign in as Payables Manager and select Run Processes > Match Processing > ERS Invoice Creation.
  2. Complete the fields using the receipt information.
  3. Specify this information:
    Match Rule
    Select a group for the matching attempt. You can select the first, second, or third match rule group.
    Invoice Process
    Select Add to add the invoice without matching.

    Select Add and Match to add the invoice and match it using the selected match rule group.

  4. In the Report Distribution section, select a distribution list and an export type for ERS Invoice Creation reports.
  5. Click Submit.
