Interfacing Match invoices

  1. Sign in as Match Specialist and select Match Invoice Interface.
  2. Click Interface Match Invoices.
  3. Specify this information:
    Run Group
This field can be specified or set to default when the program is scheduled.
  4. In the Select section, the fields are optional.
The parameters are used to narrow the results list. We do not recommended a nightly run unless the program is being run concurrently for multiple companies.
  5. In the Options section, specify this information:
    Invoice Process
Select Add or Add And Match. If you select Add, the invoices are added but a match is not attempted. The match is completed using Auto Match, which must be set to run after the interface process. We recommend that you use Add.
    Default Process Level
Optionally, select a process level to use it as the default on all invoices.
    Auto Create Details
Typically, the receipt is not in the system when the invoice is added. We recommend that you select From Purchase Order or From Receipt Then From Purchase Order. This selection guarantees that details are added to the invoice when the interface is run.
    Match Point
Unless this is a special run of the interface, we recommend that you select Rule Group One.
    Default Authority Code
Select an authority code to use it as the default on all invoices.
Allow Match On Either Item Or Vendor Item
Vendors often do not send the Infor item number. Select this check box to attempt to create details using the vendor item.
    Include Invoices In Error
Select this check box to partially import invoices that have errors so that the errors can be resolved.
Move Errors To New Run Group
Select this check box to complete the interface of valid invoices in the current run group and move invoices with errors to a new run group.
    Error Run Group Prefix
If the errors are moved to a new run group, specify the new run group prefix.
  6. Click Submit.
