Required Match structures
Use Match to define rules and tolerances according to a business model. Match structures are used to determine how invoices, receipts, and purchase orders are matched without manual intervention.
The invoice match structure consists of these components:
- Match Rules
The match rules determine how invoices are matched. Within the match rules, various options can be selected. Options include match level, match type, match order, chargeback options, match tolerances, and invoice messaging tolerances.
- Match Table
The match table is a structure that is used to group match processing rules, assign them to a company or vendor, and assign chargeback options.
- Match Company
All of match processing rules are configured for business requirements and assigned to an organizational company. This includes, but is not limited to, account application and messaging setup.
See the Financials Setup and Administration Guide for details.
