Basis close report

Use this procedure to view the status of Year Close for a reporting basis and basis year for each close of the year. Changes to Global Ledger total records because the last close are listed and retained earnings changes are separately listed.

  1. Select My Reports > Reporting Basis > Basis Close Report
  2. This list shows the report panes and descriptions:
    • Basis Year Close

      All reporting bases by basis year and basis end dates.

    • Year Close Results

      Shows the close sequence, the close run date and time, and the actor who initiated the close. Issues with the year close are denoted by an alert. Open the sequence with the alert for detailed error information.

    • Adjustments Since Last Close

      Select a close sequence. The changes to global ledger balances from entries that were created since the last close are displayed.

    • Entries To Retained Earnings

      Shows the beginning balance entries that are made to retained earnings for the selected close sequence.
