Hold codes

Hold codes are used to prevent journal entries from being posted. Hold codes can be assigned to manual or subsystem journal entries. If you create system controls for subsystems in your accounting entities, you can specify hold codes. The hold codes are assigned to the subsystem entries when they are interfaced to Global Ledger. You must remove the hold codes before the journal entry can be posted.
