Recurring journal tab processing

Maintenance on the split distribution recurring journal entry is allowed until the journal control record is released. You can update the To Finance Structure components, transaction amount, or unit amount on the recurring journal transaction lines.

You can delete recurring journal transaction lines. If a line is deleted or a transaction amount is changed, the Recurring Entry tab is displayed. The Recurring Entry tab will remain until new transaction lines have been added or amounts have been added to bring the Remaining Transaction Amount to zero. Updates are not allowed to the recurring journal control record. If all the recurring journal transaction lines are deleted, then the recurring journal control record can be deleted.

When the journal entry is released, the split distribution recurring journal entry is updated to a status of Ready and Released. At this point the split distribution recurring journal entry can be processed like any other recurring journal entry.
