Accrual codes in Lease Accounting

Invoice accrual codes are defined using Invoice Accrual Code. You can attach an accrual code to a lease after you create the lease payment schedule in Payment Schedule, Recurring Payment, or to a lease invoice. If the accrual code field is blank, then the accrual code is used in Payables.

The value for accrual codes follows this hierarchy:

1. Payment schedule
2. Invoice
3. Vendor
4. Company vendor
5. Process level
6. Company
