Asset from template release

You must release all assets with a lease before you can release the lease. Return to Lease Accounting and release the lease.

Mass/Batch	Run Mass Lease Release.
Online	Click Release Option on Lease Addition and Adjustments.

Finance leases are released only if the assets that are associated with it have been released. The total book basis for all of the assets associated with the lease matches the lease obligation on the FAS13 tab of Lease Addition and Adjustments. Operating assets are non-depreciable or have a zero book basis.
