Reordering
- Select Item Locations.
- Open an item location record.

On the Reorder tab, specify this information:
- Reorder Policy
- Select the method of reordering. Fixed Order Point is used to replenish inventory when an item's available quantity falls below a reorder point. Time-Phased Order Point is used to replenish inventory based on projected item availability.
- Reorder Document
- Select the manner in which this item is reordered. Before you complete Finished Good Replenishment, select Work Order.
- Reorder Point Code
- Select the manner in which the reorder point quantity is determined. This field is used only if the Reorder Policy field is Fixed Order Point.
- Reorder Point
- Specify a reorder point if you select Fixed Reorder Point in the Reorder Point Code field.
- Automatic Purchase Order
- Select this check box to automatically create a purchase order to replenish this item.
- Receiving Days
- Specify the number of days that it takes to process receipts until they are ready for shipment.
- Reorder Quantity Code

Select Fixed Reorder Quantity to order a fixed quantity that you specify.
Select Economic Order Quantity to balance the cost of ordering against the cost of stocking an item. This quantity is calculated by Economic Order Quantity and Reorder Calculation.
Select Difference Quantity to order the difference between the available quantity and a specified reorder point.
Select Order Up To Maximum Level to order the difference between the available quantity and a maximum order quantity.
- Reorder Quantity
- Specify the reorder quantity if you select the Fixed Reorder Quantity in the Reorder Quantity Code field.
- Order Multiple
- Specify the order multiple. The reorder quantity should be a multiple of this quantity.
- Maximum Order Quantity
- Specify the maximum order quantity.
- Minimum Order Quantity
- Specify the minimum order quantity.
- Safety Stock
- Specify the quantity of stock that you always want on hand. Use this field with the time phase order reorder policy.
- Economic Order Quantity
- Specify the economic order quantity.
- Control
- Select the code that determines how the lead time number of days is maintained.
- Average Days
- Specify the average lead time days. This value is the average of the last and previous lead time days if this field is system calculated.
- Click Save.
