Non-stock items

If you anticipate that an item may be ordered more than once, then you can create it as a non-stock item. By doing this, you can search for the item number on the item master record.

Non-stock items are materials that you order regularly but are not tracked for cost and quantity. Although cost and quantity are not tracked, the items must be on the item master record.
