Optimizing the transaction interface using GL transaction interface

  1. Enable Auto Post for entities and system codes that are used in the interface. Journals that are created by the journalize process are posted immediately.
    Note: Auto Post and QuickPost are the least efficient methods of posting.
  2. Run the interface option and select the Edit And Interface If No Errors check box. The edit only action is run first. If there are no errors, the full interface or journalize actions are run.
  3. These business tasks can be used to start interfaces for multiple run groups:
    • Interface All Run Groups: All existing run groups are interfaced.
    • Interface Selected Run Groups: All run groups matching the naming convention in the parameter are interfaced.
  4. Create a job stream that can run one of the interface business task followed by the Post Journals business task.
  5. Refresh the cube.
  6. Verify that the Async queues for the interface, journalize, and posting are set up to run multiple jobs to allow concurrent processing. Concurrent processing is subject to the number of processors the tenant has available.
