Setting access rights by location

Use this procedure to assign access rights for a specific actor by location. These access rights override the setting in the Default Access field for all items at the specified location.

  1. Sign in as Application Administrator or Supply Management Administrator and select Inventory Intelligence > Configuration.
  2. On the Access Rights tab, select the actor..
    If the actor does not exist in the Access Rights list, create a new record for them. See Setting access rights by actor.
  3. In the Processor Locations list, click Create.
  4. Specify this information:
    Company
    Select the company applicable to the items you want to specify access rights for this actor.
    Location
    Select the location applicable to the items you want to specify access rights for this actor.
    Access
    Select the access value for this actor when accessing items at this location.
    • None: Actor does not have access to any items at this location.
    • View: Actor can view all items at this location but cannot edit any items.
    • Edit: Actor can edit all items at this location.
  5. Click Save.
