Assigning a default printer to a user

The Application Administrator can assign a default IDM printer to a user.

  1. Select Application Administrator > Supply Management > Shared Processes > Printer Setup > User Default Printers. A list of default printers assigned to a user is displayed.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Actor
    Select an actor that you want to assign a default IDM printer to.
    Default Printer
    Select a default IDM printer for the actor.

    The selected actor is now added to the list of users with assigned default printers. Users under this list will have a default printer when transacting IDM enabled records with printing capabilities.
