Importing additional attributes to IDM

  1. Sign in as Application Administrator and select Shared Processes > IDM Configuration.
  2. Open or create a record.
  3. On the Additional Attributes tab, click Create.
  4. Complete the fields.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. In the Lines section, click Create.
  7. Specify this information:
    Relation
    Select a relation. Each relation has a related business class and the type of relation. You must select a relation that has a One To One type of relation.
    Field
    Select a field. The available fields are based on the business class of the selected Relation.
    Attribute Name
    Specify an attribute name. The default is the selected Field.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Click Import To IDM.
  10. Click OK.

    When the import is complete, the status of the record and its lines are updated to Imported.

    Note: To avoid errors during document generation, ensure that the status of the record is both Imported and Active.
