Creating revenue milestone splits

A revenue milestone can be split to multiple distributions or finance structures for a single funding source.

Select Financials > Project Ledger > Setup > Project Setup.
Select the Structure tab.
Open a project structure and select the Hierarchy tab.
Open a summary contract project and click Contract Information.
Select the Project Funding tab and select a funding source.
Select the Revenue Milestones tab.
Open the revenue milestone record to create the overrides.
The record can not have a status of Processed.
Specify this information on the Revenue Overrides tab:

Revenue Structure Option

Select if the revenue structure will be entered as a full finance code block or a partial for the funding revenue.

Partial Revenue Finance Structure

Specify the dimensions to override for revenue for the funding revenue. The dimensions that are left blank will inherit the value from the originating expense. The list is filtered on revenue accounts because the account will generally be a revenue account. If another account type is required, any account can be specified.

Full Revenue Finance Structure

Specify the full revenue finance structure for the funding revenue. The list is filtered on revenue accounts because the account will generally be a revenue account. If another account type is required, any account can be specified.

Percent

Specify the percent of revenue that will go to the specified revenue account, revenue account category, or structure.
Click Save.
