Date ranges

You can change the date range for a posting project and update the summary levels simultaneously. You can also change the date range for a summary project and update the posting levels simultaneously.

If the project date range is shortened, then the project assignment dates are automatically adjusted. You cannot shorten the date range for a project with labor that is approved, pending approval, or pending a labor redistribution.

If the project date range is lengthened, then this list shows the dates that are automatically adjusted:

• The end date on project assignments with the same end date, regardless of the begin date.
• The begin date on project assignments with the same begin date and end date.
