Creating pivot views

The functionality of cube views provides the ability to view financial data stored in the general ledger total OLAP cube in various configurable definitions. Several predefined cube views are available. These delivered cube views can be configured by the client to meet the specific requirements.

Use this procedure to configure the delivered lists:

  1. Sign in to Configuration Console and select Configuration > Create.
  2. On the Configuration tab, view the Configure An Existing Component section
  3. Select the List.
  4. In the Business Class field, specify GeneralLedgerTotal.
  5. Select one list:
    1. GeneralLedgerDimensionAnalysisCompareDimension1
    2. GeneralLedgerDimensionAnalysisVarianceDimension1
    3. GeneralLedgerDimensionAnalysisPeriodOverPeriodDimension1
    4. GeneralLedgerDimensionAnalysisCompareAccountingUnit
    5. GeneralLedgerDimensionAnalysisVarianceAccountingUnit
    6. GeneralLedgerDimensionAnalysisPeriodOverPeriodAccountingUnit
  6. Click Submit.
