Sending portal messages

In the Billing and Receivables Portal you can create and send messages to company customers and to customer representatives.

Portal messages are displayed on the Billing and Receivables Portal homepage in the Inbox section.

  1. Select Financials > Receivables > Setup > Manage Customers > Customer Representatives.
  2. Open a customer representative record.
  3. On the Portal Messages tab, click Create.
  4. Specify this information:
    Title
    Specify a title for the message.
    Message
    Specify the message text.
    Priority
    Select a priority status for the message.
    Attachment
    Optionally, add an attachment.
  5. Click Save.
  6. To send the portal message now, select Actions > Release.
  7. Portal messages are displayed on the Billing and Receivables Portal homepage in the Inbox section.
