Creating labor schedules
- Select Financials > Project Ledger > Setup > Project Setup.
- Click the Labor Schedules tab and click Create.

Specify this information:
- Labor Schedule, Description
- Specify a code and description to represent the labor schedule.
- Frequency
- Select the pay frequency for the labor schedule.
- First Period Start Date
- Specify the start date of the first period for the labor schedule.
- Labor Distribution Default Selection Group
- Specify a selection group to use as a default value when
labor is distributed. The selection group specifies which payroll
salary and wage records are eligible for labor distribution.

- Effort Schedule
- Select the effort schedule for the labor schedule. If the name of your labor schedule does not already exist as an effort schedule, you can leave this field blank. When you click Save, a confirmation window will display to generate the matching effort schedule. Selecting Yes creates a matching effort schedule. Selecting No requires you to select an existing effort schedule. If the same name does exist as an effort schedule, you will be required to select an effort schedule.
- Click Save.
